Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences

Established in 1994, the Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) operates as a non-profit entity under the umbrella of Kathmandu University. Equipped with modern amenities such as an E-library, audio-visual facilities, a canteen, and hostel accommodations, the School of Medical Sciences aims to provide a conducive learning environment for its students. The MBBS (Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery) degree program offered by KUSMS spans five and a half years, inclusive of an internship period. During the twelve-month internship, students are immersed in rigorous training to develop essential clinical skills. Additionally, students engage in clinical rotations at affiliated hospitals and medical centers to gain practical experience and exposure to diverse medical scenarios.
